📘 Project Summary
This India Air Quality Index (AQI) Dashboard provides a comprehensive visual analysis of India's air pollution data collected by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) from 1987 to 2015.
The dataset spans 435,742+ monitoring records from hundreds of stations across 37 states and Union Territories, tracking five critical pollutants: SO₂, NO₂, RSPM (PM10), SPM, and PM2.5.
Key findings include critical exceedances of WHO guidelines across most states, pronounced seasonal winter peaks, significant industrial pollution hotspots, and improving trends in some states post-2005 due to regulatory interventions.
